BTLJ has OPENED the submissions portal for our online publications for the Spring 2026 cycle. Manuscripts for our print publication can be submitted here on Scholastica. Accepted articles generally average between 30-60 pages and are typically around 20,000 words or more, though we do make exceptions in some cases.
Historically, shorter articles have also been submitted for consideration for online publication with our Commentaries. These generally average around 10 pages and <10,000 words. However, our Executive Board has decided to pause publishing Commentaries this cycle.
